We're hiring an Operations Manager for a fast growth start-up business based in central London, with hybrid working.
This company has bootstrapped their way to an 8 figure turnover and they now operate across multiple international markets, across a number of channels.
Reporting into the Head of Operations, this role will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the company's supply chain, fulfilment, and distribution processes.
Overview
- Supply Chain Management: Oversee end-to-end supply chain activities, including supplier management, inventory management, and vendor relations. Implement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance.
- Fulfilment Operations: Manage and improve third party fulfilment processes, ensuring timely and accurate order processing. Develop and implement procedures to enhance efficiency and minimize errors.
- Distribution Management: Coordinate and supervise the distribution of products to various locations.
- Performance Monitoring: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of operations. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive improvements.
- Cost Management: Develop and manage budgets. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement initiatives to reduce operational expenses.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including sales, marketing, and customer service, to align operations with overall business objectives. Support cross-functional initiatives to enhance customer experience.
Requirements
- 2-5 years experience within Ops/Supply Chain Management, ideally within a start-up environment
- Strong academics and strong data analysis skills
- Commercial awareness with the ability to negotiate with supplier and vendors.
- Loads of energy and a get stuff done attitude
Salary up to £50,000
