Compensation:

The role offers a competitive salary of 30,995, along with a 1% bonus and a 19% shifted allowance amounting to 5,889 annually.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will:

  • Work as part of a two-person excavation team, executing excavation, backfill, and reinstatement activities.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and maintain safe working practices.
  • Utilize handheld IT devices for job instructions and site information recording.
  • Guarantee that work quality aligns with established procedures and service standards.
  • Safeguard the security of vehicles, tools, and equipment.
  • Act as a representative for the company, promoting its values and standards.

Work Environment:

The role requires travel within the operational footprint and participation in an out-of-hours standby rota.

Qualifications:

  • NRSWA Units
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • CSCS Operatives card
  • Emergency First Aid qualification
  • Traffic Banksman qualification

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in the electricity network sector
  • Plant Operator qualification (mini excavator)
  • A demonstrated commitment to safety practices
