Regional Account Manager
Established over 40 years ago, our client is a leading manufacturer of blinds & shutters, with a turnover north of £100M. Our client is a well-recognized & trusted brand within the space, winning numerous awards since their establishment.
They are looking for a Regional Account Manager to oversee a set of existing accounts across a designated region; this is a pivotal role in driving revenue for the organisation through strong relationship skills and upselling/cross-selling their product lines.
They operate as part of a larger group, meaning there are plenty of progression opportunities across the wider company; this is a fantastic opportunity for candidates driven by progression, with the opportunity to be guided & developed by a first-class leadership team.
This is a field-based role; they are currently looking for two new members to cover the East of England and the Southeast of England respectively.
Responsibilities
- Manage circa 200-250 trade accounts across the territory, building long-term partnerships & driving sales
- Prospect new business accounts where necessary, creating a longer-term sales pipeline
- Engage with customers through face-to-face meetings, actively promoting new products & explaining pricing; cater all meetings to customer specific needs
- Provide technical support & product to training customers, promoting continued customer loyalty
The Successful Candidate
- 2+ years B2B field sales experience
- Experience of managing a customer base of 150-250 accounts
- Experience selling a product into retailers or trade customers is ideal
- Experience selling blinds, shutters, home furnishings, textile products would be a plus
- Full UK Driving License
Regional Account Manager Package
- Basic salary up to £50,000
- OTE: £60,000 (uncapped)
