Regional Account Executive

New Chapter Consulting Ltd is seeking a skilled Regional Account Executive to join their team in the North West of England. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and building strong relationships with major retailers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of 20 regional grocery groups, influencing over 500 stores with major retailers.
  • Prioritize and manage coverage of key accounts and stores to maximize growth opportunities within the territory.
  • Establish effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work closely with field sales agency sales representatives to align store priorities and support regional agreements.
  • Plan, forecast, track, and review sales performance and targets for all groups and stores.
  • Maintain and increase availability of brand products at front-of-store and back-of-store locations, and agree additional placements through store-owned or branded fridges.
  • Ensure effective rollout of new distribution points in line with national agreements.
  • Increase in-store presence through visibility and awareness of products through merchandising and point-of-sale activations.
  • Drive compliance of agreed national head office joint business plans and identify local promotional opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Experience in FMCG sales or retail buying.
  • Proven sales skills and ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with customers.
  • Clear understanding and knowledge of the grocery channel and major retailers.
  • Strong ability to utilize and understand category and financial insights.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
