Regional Sales Executive

New Chapter Consulting Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Account Executive to join their team in the North West of England. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and building strong relationships with major retailers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of 20 regional grocery groups, influencing over 500 stores with major retailers.
- Prioritize and manage coverage of key accounts and stores to maximize growth opportunities within the territory.
- Establish effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Work closely with field sales agency sales representatives to align store priorities with regional agreements.
- Plan, forecast, track, and review sales performance and targets for all groups and stores.
- Maintain and increase availability of brand products at front-of-store and back-of-store locations, and agree additional placements through store-owned or branded fridges.
- Ensure effective rollout of new distribution points in line with national agreements.
- Increase in-store presence through visibility and awareness of products through merchandising and point-of-sale activations.
- Drive compliance of agreed national head office joint business plans while identifying local promotional opportunities.
Requirements:
- Experience in FMCG sales or retail buying.
- Proven sales skills and a clear understanding of the grocery channel and major retailers.
- Strong ability to communicate and negotiate with customers, and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to utilize and understand category and financial insights.
