Location: Hammersmith (2 days a week in the office, although you can go in more often)


An exciting opportunity to join our client, a dynamic and growing media and events business. This role is ideal for a well-educated and articulate individual, ideally with some sales experience, looking to support a high-performing sales team and eventually step into a full 360 media solutions role.


Main Responsibilities:

Market and Audience Research:

  • Gather key customer data through Workbooks (CRM) and conduct research using LinkedIn, competitor events, company websites/blogs, etc.
  • Understand the product offerings.
  • Identify key players at target companies and begin the sales cycle.


Build Pipeline:

  • Qualify inbound inquiries and reach out to high-potential prospects.
  • Conduct effective discovery and qualification conversations.
  • Develop strategies for engaging and nurturing prospects via content, email, phone, social media, etc.
  • Move solid leads through the marketing funnel, connecting them to a salesperson.
  • Provide a comprehensive handover of qualified leads to the sales team.
  • Coordinate engagement strategies and improve processes with the sales and marketing teams.
  • Educate the broader team on customer needs and opportunities.


Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain relationships with the internal sales team.
  • Work with internal stakeholders across data, marketing, content, and product teams.
  • Build relationships with lapsed and new customers.
  • Identify upsell opportunities from ticket sales to sponsorship with Delegate Sales.


Data and Metrics:

  • Use Workbooks to track client interactions.
  • Provide Workbooks reporting metrics to sales team members.


Project Management:

  • Represent the sales team in company campaign management meetings.
  • Ensure deadlines and commitments to prospects and clients are met.


Person Specification:

  • Basic understanding of sales and marketing.
  • Experience with CRM and prospecting applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and phone/email presence.
  • Ability to work independently within a team structure.
  • Initiative and ability to prioritize and multi-task efficiently.
  • Proven success in pre-sales preparation and lead progression.
