Role: Public Sector Account Executive - Local Government
Territory: North
Your Location: North England (Birmingham and up)
We have partnered with a Gartner Magic Quadrant Cyber Vendor who are a leader in their space. They are currently hiring for a Public Sector Account Executive with a focus on Local Government in the North.
The ideal candidate is a passionate, self-motivated, and detail-oriented team player who is committed to the success of our client’s customers. You will focus on generating new business, as well as growing and developing existing clients by identifying, implementing, and executing new strategies.
Key Points:
- You will have the Northern patch, so being based in the North is ideal.
- You will inherit 15 accounts, to nurture and develop
- So many local governments that haven't been touched - lots of new logo opportunities.
- A diverse portfolio to sell - constantly staying innovative and relevant.
- Set up to succeed.
Responsibilities:
- Operate as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, channel partners and customers
- Responsible for developing key accounts and identifying new opportunities driving new business and continuing trusted relationships.
- Manage relationships on all levels
- Develop a trusted advisory relationship with accounts, customer stakeholders and internal partners
- Onboard new customers and manage new customer acquisition
- Ability to discuss and articulate the portfolio
- Prepare and guarantee monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts
What you need:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business
- 5+ years of relevant work experience specifically gained in public sector – ideally within Local Government
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of the Cyber Security industry
- Experience in a Cyber Security Vendor or experience in a VAR selling Cyber Security
- Willingness to travel
Benefits and Package:
- Package up to £160,000 OTE, dependant on experience. Flexible for the right person.
- Home based - travel to the office is fully expensed
