In this role: Based in the UK or Ireland, will focus to develop influential and partner-based relationships with Medical OEMs, influencers and decision makers involved in furthering the adoption and utilization of 3D Printing


Succeeding in this role will require a self-starter who is excited about the impact that AM can have within the medical industry, who has a strong medical network and understands how to sell into medical device manufacturing companies and who can help develop the market for our solutions in this space through managing the entire sales and application engineering process.


Sales:

  • Develop and drive innovative solutions within your targeted geography using company equipment, solutions, and services.
  • Educate, coach, and support reseller partners to advance and close medical-based opportunities.
  • Build and manage a strong opportunity pipeline within the assigned territory to exceed quota.
  • Utilize key customer planning, leading indicators, and CRM tools to ensure visibility, predictability, and successful revenue closure.


Customer Success:

  • Define “Customer Success” for core use cases and customer types, collaborating cross-functionally to develop and execute necessary tools, processes, solutions, and plans.
  • Engage regularly with customers to identify new applications within the Healthcare & Consumer Business Unit and create compelling business cases for adoption.
  • Oversee medical application engineers to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Enhance and maintain customer loyalty, ensuring customers realize the full value of Additive Manufacturing.


Additional Duties:

  • Support Product and Marketing teams by consistently gathering and integrating customer feedback to inform product enhancements and future releases.
  • Represent the company as an expert in medical OEM solutions, understanding market requirements and opportunities, and showcasing leadership at tradeshows and events.
  • Stay informed about competitive solutions and communicate our key advantages to Product and Marketing teams to influence the development roadmap.
  • Uphold the company's Core Values through leadership and behavior.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures and participate in relevant safety training.
  • Support medical tradeshows and events and collaborate with Marketing to develop effective sales enablement tools for the reseller network.
  • Engage with Centers of Excellence (COEs) to maximize their impact and influence, including connecting opportunities with COE personnel and driving event attendance.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Engineering, technical or any relevant background
  • 5+ years of experience in medical sales/business development, preferably with medical OEMs, demonstrating the ability to garner internal and external team support.
  • Proven success in developing strategic customer relationships that support application/product development and commercial success.
  • Strong track record of results-driven performance, customer focus, and commitment to quality and timely outcomes.
  • Experience collaborating with product and marketing teams to define and launch innovative market and customer opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):

  • Experience with additive manufacturing (3D printing) equipment or services.
  • Familiarity with segmentation software/solutions.
  • Experience with Quality Management Systems in the regulated medical industry.
  • Experience selling capital equipment to Medical OEMs.
