We are seeking an Accounts Administrator for a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. This role requires a reliable individual with their own transport, as the location is in Minster. The ideal candidate will be someone who is organised, detail-oriented, and has a knack for managing financial records.
Day-to-day of the role:- Handling day-to-day financial transactions, including invoicing and billing.
- Assisting with the preparation of accounts and tax returns.
- Managing ledgers and facilitating various accounting functions.
- Ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments.
- Reconciling bank statements and resolving discrepancies.
- Maintaining financial records and preparing reports.
- Providing administrative support to the finance team.
- Proven experience in an accounts administration role or studying towards an accountancy qualification.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Must possess a valid driver’s licence and have own transport due to the location of the office in Minster.
