Job Title: Platform Delivery Coordinator

Salary: £24,300 - £30,600

Location: Cambridge, UK

Contract: Permanent, Full time 35 hours per week

We are Cambridge University Press & Assessment, a world-leading academic publisher and assessment organisation and a proud part of the University of Cambridge.

If you want to be part of a small and collaborative delivery team where the Delivery Coordinator will support initiatives on technology platforms hosting Academic Publishing group's digital products, then read on

About the role

We are looking for a positive, proactive, and organised Delivery Coordinator to provide organisational and administrative support to the Academic Platform Delivery Team and the wider Academic Technology Group, focusing on the technology platforms that underpin Academic Publishing's digital products and services. Within a small delivery team, you will be responsible for helping to deliver a range of initiatives, working with the various global technology teams within the group as well as supporting ongoing programs, projects and members of the group management team.

Key responsibilities include managing financial, contractual, and vendor-related tasks, along with broader duties such as document management, travel and expense coordination, and acting as a point of expertise for legal, procurement, and SAP matters.

This position is ideal for someone seeking to gain experience in a platform delivery or project management environment. The role also involves assisting with smaller project tasks and initiatives within the Delivery Team, helping the post holder develop the knowledge and skills needed for a future delivery-focused role.

About you

You will be a tenacious problem solver with excellent organisational and administrative skills gained in a professional environment. This role will particularly suit someone with strong financial management skills, good understanding of procurement processes and purchase management (PO's, invoicing, contracts etc) and experience working with external vendors will also be beneficial. Experience or interest in Academic publishing, software development, or technology projects would be an advantage.

You will be self-motivated, comfortable working autonomously across several concurrent projects and priorities, with a drive to pursue loose ends and to advance deliverables through to final implementation. You will be an excellent communicator, collaborator, and facilitator, and you will be confident navigating diverse project teams and matrix team structures. You will be highly organised and won't be put off by financial reporting or legal and project governance documentation.
