Team Secretary. OUR CLIENT is an established and extensive real estate investment and development group. The business has a number of active commercial JV developments and are a market leader in the property sector. They are now looking for a TeamSecretary to help the accounts team (office-based role).

THE ROLE responsibilities for the Team Secretary will include:

  • Assisting the Finance Director and finance team to maintain list of accounts/audits, rolling forward accounts, editing accounts for cosmetic changes and arranging for the accounts to be signed by directors.
  • Filing accounts at Companies House.
  • Ensuring all PSC (confirmation statements) returns for all entities are approved and filed on monthly basis
  • Setting up daily faster payments and ensuring that these get approved and released in a timely manner.
  • Filling out application forms for opening bank accounts for new entities
  • Handling KYC requests from banks and external advisors
  • Going through daily post and distributing to various parties, internal and external
  • Supporting the JV team members in various administrative tasks like DocuSign, archiving files, drafting, scanning, printing and sending correspondence.
  • Managing the Finance Director’s diary and setting up meeting rooms.
  • Organising / assisting with organising team events.

THE PERSON skills and requirements for the Team Secretary are:

  • Essential to have experience of working as a Team Administrator / PA.
  • Must have experience of filing accounts to Companies House.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Attention to detail.
  • Very strong organisation and time management skills.
  • Strong preference for someone with experience of working in Real Estate.
