Team Secretary required - Maternity Contract

**About Our Client**:
You will be working for a well-established Accountancy firm based in London.
The position is a varied and is predominately as Team Secretary for a small number of Partners. You will also give shared secretarial support to a team of professional staff, including Managers and Directors.
Key duties as follows:
- Maintaining diaries (electronic) and organising meetings
- Audio typing
- Organising travel arrangements and accommodation
- Preparation of standard letters to HMRC and banks
- Drafting straightforward correspondence to return documents
- Working with the Manager/Partner and the Finance team to manage unpaid bills
- Managing incoming post for Partners and Managers including scanning of large documents and maintaining the relevant electronic client filing system
- Taking telephone calls, screening them & routing them as appropriate, taking messages, liaising with clients, where appropriate
**The Successful Applicant**:
The successful Team Secretary will possess the following:
- Ability to use your own initiative
- Ability to build relationships with clients and inspire confidence to assist with the management of Partner's time.
- Ability to adapt between different types of work and work under pressure (particularly at year ends and the end of the tax year).
- Strong IT skills including, but not limited to Word and Excel.
- Accurate and fast audio typing skills (ideally experience with Olympus Dictation software)
- Good standard of literacy e.g. grammar and spelling to correct documents, as necessary.
- Attention to detail
- Pleasant and helpful telephone manner
- Previous experience of effective team working
- Discreet and able to retain client confidentiality
**What's on Offer**:
This is a maternity cover for between 13-14 months.
- The role is full-time and the standard hours of work are from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm
- 24 days per year plus bank holidays. Opportunity to buy/sell holiday up to 5 days holiday per holiday year.
- It is a requirement of the role to work from the office 4 days per week. Working from home after a 3 month settling in period 1 day per week is permitted so long as work commitments allow.
