Miles Recruitment are recruiting for a new Business Development Manager position, for a long established engineering company. The company has an exceptional reputation for quality and operates from a modern, well invested manufacturing facility.

As Business Development Manager, you will be reporting directly to the Managing Director. You will be primarily responsible for managing existing business and growing new business accounts. In addition to this, other duties for this sales management role include:

• Daily interactions with the companies CRM and ERP systems ensuring compliance with reporting and procedures.• Liaise with the operations team and customers in processing active sales orders.• You will have the responsibility for planning, managing and interaction with both existing and new customer accounts within the marketplace.• Complete the necessary research and market intelligence to ensure opportunities are generated, promoted and converted.

To thrive in this role as Business Development Manager, it is important that you have experience in a relevant position and be an excellent communicator. You will ideally also:

• Have the ability to initiate customer contact and generate technical enquiries with a commitment to follow through to execution.• Located within a commutable distance to Chippenham.• Proactive and show ambition to succeed.• Be able to demonstrate a technical / engineering background
