IT Sales Business Development Director

Salary: £50,000 + Generous Commission Structure (Uncapped)

Location: Manchester - Hybrid (2 days in the office)

The business is a consistently growing Microsoft, Cisco, and VMWare partner who are looking to give enthusiastic individuals a massive opportunity to join a top-class company that values the progression and development of their staff.

As Business Development Director, you will receive support through regular training to ensure you remain at the forefront of the business development industry and progress in your career.

They have a top-tier marketing and lead generation team in place to ensure that all new business you are doing will be warm, as opposed to making completely cold outreach.

Business Development Director Role and Responsibilities

As the business’s new Business Development Director, you will be tasked with delivering against set targets for booking meetings and lead generation for the company’s Account Directors. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  1. Actively prospecting to C-level clients.
  2. Closing deals and winning business from warm leads generated for you.
  3. Utilising your network and skills to generate new logos.
  4. Converting leads.
Your Skills and Experience

The business will support you to work in a hybrid and flexible environment. The business does ask that you have:

  1. Clearly demonstrated the right attitude to learn, develop, and progress, and be willing to pick up the phone.
  2. 3+ years of selling in a traditional IT MSP.
  3. Ability to prospect and generate leads from scratch.
  4. Previous experience of building and developing relationships with senior stakeholders.
  5. Demonstrated experience of winning business through consultative sales approaches.
  6. The ability to develop relationships by building trust with key stakeholders.
  7. Demonstrated previous experience of delivering and overachieving annual sales targets.
  8. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
