Director of Sales Operations

Page Group is a leading provider of recruitment solutions, and we are currently working with a key client in the B2B Industrial product and service sector.
This role will be based at their offices in Manchester, where you will join a dynamic team as Head of Telesales.
The RoleWe are seeking an experienced sales professional to lead our SME Telesales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key stakeholders, and developing strategies to achieve commercial objectives.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering against internal sales strategies to meet financial budgets
- Managing appointment booking, identifying trends, successes, and challenges to inform the sales strategy
- Working with Team Leaders to drive effective lead management, conversion, and up-selling across the Sales Exec population
- Reporting on daily, weekly, monthly, and annual appointment setting performance, including management of Sales Team Leaders
- Providing regular training, development, and 1-2-1 coaching to the team
You will also be responsible for increasing growth potential within existing accounts and new clients, using data to make informed dialling choices.
What's on OfferThis exciting opportunity offers a competitive salary of £52,500 - £62,500 per annum, plus a generous bonus/commission structure and enhanced benefits package.
As a Director of Sales Operations, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our client's leadership team to develop and implement commercial strategies that drive business growth.
Key RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to analyse and interpret data to inform commercial decisions.
Experience in sales leadership and commercial operations would be highly desirable, as well as a strong understanding of the B2B Industrial product and service sector.
