As a Technical Engineering Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving technical sales within the engineering industry. You will have the opportunity to work closely with customers, identify new business opportunities, and gather valuable feedback to drive product improvement and customer satisfaction.


About the Role:


  • Lead and manage a team of two Marketing Co-ordinator, Contracts Manager
  • Act as a technical expert, providing guidance and support to the sales team in understanding engineering products and services
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide product solutions that align with their requirements
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the engineering sector
  • Gather and analyse customer feedback to enhance product development and improve customer experience
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including clients, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market shifts to inform sales and business strategies


About You:


  • Proven experience in technical sales within the engineering industry
  • Strong understanding of engineering products and services
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a sales team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients
  • Track record of identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities
  • Ability to gather and analyse customer feedback to drive product improvement and customer satisfaction
  • Knowledge of industry trends, competitor activities, and market insights
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (preferred)
