Technical Product Support Engineer

Cambridge 5 days

£40k-£48k


We’re looking for an experienced Technical Support Engineer to join a market leading tech company, based on the outskirts of Cambridge as they continue to grow in all aspects of their business. You will be working closely with project, product and their development teams, so it’s a great opportunity for you to get exposure to different teams and get a greater understanding of the full product lifecycle.


Candidates must have recent experience providing support to a physical product, be within a commutable distance of Cambridge (this role is onsite 5 days per week) and have been in the UK for a minimum of 5 years to be eligible for security clearance.

The Role:

  • Provide technical support to the end user
  • Log and prioritise tickets
  • Liaise with Software Development / Product teams regarding any reoccurring issues
  • Write customer facing documentation
  • Continuously increase your technical knowledge on the range of products
  • Offer product recommendations to clients


Requirements:

  • 5+ years technical product support experience
  • Understanding of product development lifecycles
  • Excellent written and verbal English
  • Have the full right to work in the UK without any restrictions
  • Eligible for security clearance (must have been in the UK for a minimum of 5 years)
  • Able to commute the Cambridge office 5 days a week
