Position Overview

This is an exciting position because you will be based at the Reception but also involved in the Food & Beverage department.

This is a zero hours part time contract.

  • Provide efficient service for guest registration and departure; maintain accurate guest accounts and provide accurate helpful information. 
  • Attend to all incoming calls in a professional and polite manner constantly striving to provide Total Customer Satisfaction. 
  • Maintain strict security procedures to ensure guest confidentiality and safety

Duties

  • Provide quality service to the customer by responding to their requests promptly efficiently and courteously during checkin checkout and throughout their stay.
  • Maintain control of guest and hotel accounts ensuring that all charges are accurate and posted on a timely basis.
  • Maintain strict security procedures with credit and cash transactions accounting procedures issue of room keys and guest confidentiality/privacy
  • Maintain communication channels between Hotel guests and all Hotel departments both verbally and in writing as required.
  • Handle all calls promptly and professionally greeting all callers according to Accor policy and transfer all calls to relevant departments responding to requests quickly and efficiently.
  • Use every opportunity to promote hotel facilities and maximise sales through sound product knowledge and selling skills.
  • Check ordered meals on collection from kitchen and deliver to guests promptly to maintain temperature and appearance ensure items are announced.
  • Keep tables and service areas clean and tidy as per procedure manual.
  • Ensure room service trays and trolleys are setup correctly and collected promptly when guest(s) have finished.
  • Attend to other duties as requested by Management and Supervisors

General Duties

  • Follow the standards and performance outlined during training and in the departmental service procedures manual. Complete all tasks within the shift to these standards.
  • Suggest any improvements that could be made to existing services or procedures.
  • Attend training programmes and meetings as directed to constantly improve skills and knowledge.
  • Follow the expectations and guidelines in the Accor Employee Handbook.

Qualifications :

You must be eligible to live and work in the UK to apply for this position and be in possession of a current work visa.

This is a zero hours part time contract.

  • A selfstarter who has the ability to work unsupervised who ideally has experience on either a Hotel Reception and/or in a Hotel Food & Beverage Department. 
  • Someone with a positive attitude and a genuine customer service focus.
  • A fastthinking problem solver with initiative that takes pride in creating and delivering memorable guest experiences.
  • Superb Communication skills to interact with guests and other members of the team. 
  • Brilliant organisation skills.
