To succeed in this role, you will need to be a pro-active self-starter with the ability to drive business, and grow market share from existing accounts and delivery of new business.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership
Craft and Execute Winning Growth Strategies: Shape the future of our business by developing and implementing growth plans for a diverse portfolio of accounts and engage Travel Management Companies (TMCs).
Inspire and Lead: To achieve impressive market share and revenue gains.

Relationship Management:
Build Powerful Partnerships: Forge and maintain strong relationships with customers, key business executives, and stakeholders.
Drive Business Growth: Address client queries and uncover exciting new business opportunities among both existing and new customers.

Sales & Revenue Management:
Seal the Deal: Negotiate contracts and close agreements that maximize revenue potential.
Collaborate and Conquer: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Revenue Management and regional Sales, to identify and seize revenue opportunities.
Track Success: Prepare and present sales reports to monitor performance and guide strategic decisions.

Client Satisfaction:
Exceed Expectations: Ensure our clients are thrilled with our products and services, fostering long-term engagement and satisfaction.
Hit Targets: Collaborate with sales and revenue teams to achieve ambitious targets and maintain high levels of client satisfaction.


What you'll be doing:

Give strategic direction and day to day management to a National Account Manager, maximising all opportunities within a defined portfolio of accounts.
Cultivate and strengthen relationships with corporate clients to drive revenue growth and enhance market penetration. Address challenging client requests and escalate issues when necessary.
Proactively handle client inquiries and identify opportunities to expand business relationships.
Proactively manage the relationships with chosen TMC partners and ensure we have commercially beneficial deals in place through the monitoring of cost impact via the COS model
Prepare detailed sales reports and forecasts to monitor performance against targets aligned with organizational objectives.
Coordinate with internal teams, including Revenue Management and regional Sales, to capitalize on revenue opportunities.
Gain a deep understanding of the market through competitive analysis and intelligence, leveraging insights to increase revenue from existing key corporate accounts and TMCs.
Demonstrate exemplary client relationship and account development practices, establishing trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders and executive sponsors.
Present Leonardo Hotels to prospective corporate clients effectively, including conducting hotel visits in collaboration with hotel teams.
Monitor and adjust promotional plans throughout the year to ensure ROI and adherence to budgets.
Negotiate contracts and finalize agreements to optimize profitability.
Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions based on customer needs and objectives.
Communicate progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives clearly to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Manage the RFP process with the assistance of the Sales Support team ensuring the correct procedures are in place to support the client and drive business into the Leonardo hotel portfolio.
Travel as required to meet clients and support business objectives.

If you're our ideal National Account Director, you will:

Have previous Account Management experience at a senior level.
Have experience in driving sales performance in a fast moving, challenging and multi-channel environment.
Have the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment through collaborative efforts.
Be a strategic thinker leveraging consumer behaviour insights.
Proficient in effective selling methodologies and commercial negotiations.
Self-starter capable of proactively driving major corporate account sales and maintaining/growing market share with existing TMCs and Preferred Partners.
Possess the ability to plan, prioritize and multi-task.
Be able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
Have Strong problem-solving skills.
Be results driven, self-motivated, flexible and resilient.
Have excellent communications and relationship building skills
Ambitious, driven, and knowledgeable about the value hotel sector.
Self-motivated, flexible, and resilient in achieving goals and additional revenue generation.
Very strong data management and analytical skills with an strong good working knowledge of Excel.
Proficient in analysing market data to identify new business opportunities.
Be competent using Power Point, creating and delivering presentations and utilising the software for reporting.
Be commercially aware, numerate and the ability to identify opportunities.
The ability to present the Leonardo Hotels proposition in a compelling manner to influence new business acquisition.
Proven track record of developing account plans that meet and exceed revenue targets.
