About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced National Account Executive to join our team at Allwyn. As a key member of our Commercial Sales team, you will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of retail deployment plans for our designated accounts within Retail Channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and lead the strategy to successfully implement the transition plan within the account, ensuring retailer experience is 'World Class.'
  • Account Management: Support the National Account Manager's accounts and take full ownership of own accounts where required, managing trade marketing budget, driving sales, instore standards, compliance, and ensuring deployment is completed.
  • Retail Insight: 'Be the voice of the customer internally and the voice of Allwyn externally' by bringing retail insight back into Allwyn to feed into the development of these plans and tailor brand plans where necessary to ensure strong execution within the channel.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and lead a cross-functional stakeholder network and strong working relationships across operations, commercial, and project management teams within the account to support the delivery of transition.
  • Director-Level Collaboration: Work and collaborate up to director level within the specified National Account, working through a top-to-bottom contact matrix.
  • Store Development: Develop a thorough understanding of the retailers' store development processes to support strategic planning and generate key insights to support delivering deployment and expansion of National Lottery within the Account.
  • Joint Business Planning: Support the National Account Manager to build a Joint Business Plan and deliver the plans to achieve the sales and profit targets for designated multiple customers as requested.
  • Retailer Business Planning: Support the development and implementation of individual Retailer Business Plans in conjunction with the National Account Manager, to support the delivery of the Allwyn Retail Annual Business Plan.
  • Day-to-Day Tasks: Complete every day tasks within the account to ensure the fundamentals and foundations of managing the Lottery category are in place.
  • Mandatory Training: Lead the designated account to ensure that mandatory training requirements are delivered to all staff colleagues (up to 60,000 in some cases) through developing the right solution in partnership with the relevant departments and tracking the implementation.
  • Communication Planning: Develop and implement a robust comms plan to stores to ensure the stores and all stakeholders are engaged, informed, and directed to support the delivery, which is a critical underpinning factor to the success of the Allwyn.
  • Account Performance Analysis: Analyze the account performance and strategy to generate key insights, identify opportunities, and implement initiatives to maximize sales revenues and profits.
  • Participant Protection: Lead the execution of all participant protection initiatives, including Operation Guardian objectives, with designated customers.
  • New Product Development: Identify opportunities for new or existing product development and placement within assigned retailers.
Requirements

  • Decision Making: Negotiate with customers and/or marshal resources to serve accounts, to navigate challenges, and unlock incremental opportunities with the account.
  • Relationship Building: Proven experience of successfully building and utilizing business relationships and networks.
  • Account Management: Proven track record of effective account and relationship management.
  • Retail Knowledge: Good working knowledge of the retail marketplace.
  • Communication Skills: Proven verbal and written communication skills, including report writing.
  • Financial Analysis: Proven ability to analyze financial and business performance, providing insight and recommendations to customers and decision-makers.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to use Google and Microsoft Office suite of products.
