Are you an experienced Accounts Payable professional looking for your next temporary role? Sheridan Maine is currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our Dorset-based client, a well-established and dynamic organisation, on a temporary basis.

Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Assistant include:
  • Processing high volumes of supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies.
  • Managing payment runs and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Assisting with month-end closing processes, including preparing accruals and prepayments.
  • Communicating effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve invoice queries.
  • Maintaining and updating the accounts payable ledger.
The successful Accounts Payable Assistant will have:
  • Proven experience in an Accounts Payable or similar finance role.
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines.
  • A team player with a proactive and positive attitude.
