Senior Accounts Payable Assistant

This is a full time, hands-on role which will require someone who is predominately based in the office initially, with potential of more flexibility once bedded into the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of staff expenses and company credit cards, from checking and reviewing to preparing payment runs to ensure timely reimbursement.
- Conduct finance inductions for all new staff.
- Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable during absences or busy periods.
- Continuously monitor and suggest improvements to current processes.
- Review and approve supplier payment runs.
- Create and approve new customer accounts and terms.
- Complete customer forms, including new vendor forms.
- Onboard new staff, ensuring they fully understand and comply with the expenses policy.
- Highly motivated and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships and take ownership of tasks.
- Clear and effective communication skills.
