We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our client's team on a part-time, temp-to-perm basis. As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the finance team, ensuring accurate and timely data entry, and maintaining the company's financial records.
Key Responsibilities- Data Entry: Accurately and efficiently enter financial data into the company's accounting system, including sales invoices, purchase ledger invoices, and bank reconciliations.
- Financial Administration: Assist with the preparation of financial reports, statements, and other documents as required.
- Credit Control: Assist with credit control activities, including sending reminders and following up on outstanding invoices.
- Payroll: Assist with the preparation and processing of payroll, including calculating salaries, benefits, and taxes.
- General Administration: Provide general administrative support to the finance team, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and performing other tasks as required.
- Education: A-levels or equivalent in a relevant subject, such as accounting or finance.
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a team environment.
- Software: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Other: Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
