The Opportunity:

As and Employer Engagement Manager, you will focus on the strategic development and operational enhancement of the Employer Engagement team within the wider Careers, Employability and Alumni team to support graduate progression, increase engagement with employers in curriculum embedded employability activities, and in work-based learning, while also ensuring alignment to Arden's strategic aims to support high quality student outcomes.

You will also manage a team of Employer Engagement Consultants, managing and coaching the team to ensure that the Employer Engagement function focuses on continuous improvement and quality standards.

About You:

We are looking for a candidate with excellent written communication skills tailored to diverse audiences. You will demonstrate tenacity and a positive, confident approach in challenging situations as well interpersonal skills are essential as you will develop effective relationships with clients and colleagues.

Experience in business development, employer engagement, and partnership development within the higher education sector is required. Knowledge of the graduate labour markets and the needs of employers is crucial.

Other key responsibilities include managing multiple complex projects, coaching and mentoring team members, and supporting strategic change. A proactive approach to problem-solving, a commitment to continuous improvement, and experience in staff or project management are essential.
