Seeking a pro-active and detail-oriented Sales and Purchase Administrator to join well establish manufacturing company in Aberdeen . This is an exciting opportunity to support the sales and purchasing departments, ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service.

You will play a critical role in coordinating between sales, procurement, and customers, handling administrative tasks with precision and efficiency.

What you'd be involved with on a day to day in this sales/purchase administrator role:

  • Provide excellent client service, answering any queries and provide information about the technical products.
  • Support the sales team in managing client accounts.
  • Track and manage client orders to ensure smooth and timely delivery.
  • Collaboratively work alongside the technical team to understand product specifications and functionalists.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers, and internal teams to resolve any queries or issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions and inventory.
  • Assist with the preparation of quotations.
  • Provide administrative support to the sales and purchasing teams.
  • Process purchase orders on Sage 200.
  • Handle multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Take part in sales meetings and training sessions to keep update on the newest product and latest market trends.

To be shortlisted, you must have:

  • Previous experience in a sales or customer service role, or in an administrative capacity.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- experienced in Sage 200, not essential but advantageous
