The University of Central Lancashire's Research and Knowledge Exchange Service is seeking to recruit an Impact and Outputs Unit Admin Assistant to support the preparation and development of our submission to Research England's Research Excellence Framework (REF) assessment. This is a 12 month maternity cover.

This is an exciting, varied and busy role based in our Impact and Outputs Unit, which is responsible for key institutional submissions such as REF, benchmarking research performance, Open Research, researcher development and research impact.

The successful candidate will support ongoing preparations for the next REF exercise, REF2029, coordinating the various committees that oversee REF, supporting the REF Project Officer in management of UCLan's programme of Annual Research Assessment, and collating relevant information about University activities to include in our REF2029 submission. They will also support our researcher training and development activities, including signposting the research community to development opportunities and resources on our Researcher Development Portal.

The post holder will have a range of GCSEs, including English Language and Maths at Grade C or above, or appropriate equivalent experiential learning. You will have significant, recent project administration experience, including committee/meeting coordination; and experience of organising, inputting and extracting data from various sources, ensuring data integrity. The successful candidate will have strong organisational skills and must be able to manage a diverse workload which is likely to encompass many areas of the University and numerous external stakeholders.
