Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead with Impact: Spearhead the effective delivery of the STAR Quality Assurance Framework, ensuring that our safety and quality standards are not just met, but continuously exceeded.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Work closely with nursing, midwifery, and allied health professional leaders, and take on the exciting challenge of supporting and deputising for the Quality Assurance Matron.
  • Drive Excellence: Your relentless focus on high standards will be key in ensuring that the STAR Framework drives continuous improvement across our organization.
  • Be a Role Model: As a highly visible leader, you'll set the bar for professionalism and accountability, representing the Quality Assurance Team and Matron in key safety forums and clinical areas.

Requirements:

  • Registered Health or Social Care Professional: You must be a registered health or social care professional with a degree in health, social care, or a related subject.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven extensive experience of team leadership and team development, with a significant experience in an acute hospital setting or relevant setting.
  • Quality Improvement: Experience of using quality improvement techniques and methodology to drive change, with a strong understanding of recent developments within acute hospital practice.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to lead effective meetings, deliver presentations, and educational training sessions.
