About The Role

The Senior Data Information and Insight Officer plays a critical role in strategic data analysis, governance, and intelligence within the University. Collaborating extensively across faculties, they facilitate the development of University intelligence tailored to business needs.

The focus for the role will be the delivery of a project to provide continuous enhancement monitoring for academic programmes of study. This exciting project will utilise Microsoft Power BI to provide actionable insights to a range of stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and modelling, they will have the proven ability to effectively understand user requirements and deliver enterprise reporting solutions using the latest BI tools and techniques.

Welsh Language Skills

The Welsh language level required for this role is Level 1 - A little. The role holder will be able to pronounce Welsh words, answer the phone in Welsh (good morning/afternoon) and use very basic everyday words and phrases (thank you, please etc.). Level 1 can be reached by completing a 1 hour course.
