Job Summary

We're looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Data Engineer, you'll help our clients deploy data pipelines and processes in a production-safe manner, using the latest technologies and with a DataOps approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement data pipelines and processes using cloud-based technologies such as AWS, Azure, and GCP
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver modern data platforms into large organizations
  • Develop and maintain data applications, systems, and services using software engineering best practices
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their data needs and develop solutions to meet those needs
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in data engineering

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field
  • Strong understanding of cloud-based technologies such as AWS, Azure, and GCP
  • Experience with data services such as Databricks, Data Factory, Synapse, Kafka, Redshift, Glue, Athena, BigQuery, S3, and Cloud Data Fusion
  • Strong programming skills in Python
  • Experience with code and data versioning, dependency management, code quality and optimization, error handling, logging, monitoring, validation, and testing
  • Good understanding of design choices for data storage and data processing, with a particular focus on cloud data
  • Experience in programmatically deploying, scheduling, and monitoring components
  • Experience in writing complex queries against relational and non-relational databases
