The Role:

An opportunity has arisen within the Faculty of Science and Health for a Learning Support Tutor. The successful candidate should have the knowledge and skills to help deliver learning support to students individually or in groups.

The post holder will, in liaison with relevant professional services, provide support to students in the development of generic and specific skills relevant to the role (English language and scientific research techniques and analysis). There will also be an emphasis on supporting students with scientific research methods, study skills and maths.

The working pattern for this post is 0.8 FTE (29.6 hours per week)
