About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Lead Academic Mentor. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting disadvantaged students to achieve academic success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one academic support to students, setting goals and monitoring progress
  • Liaise with teachers and parents to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Develop and implement strategies to overcome barriers to learning
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of our ACE tutoring program
  • Work closely with the Senior Ace Lead and other tutors to achieve shared goals
Requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents
  • Experience in tutoring or academic support
  • Knowledge of educational policies and procedures
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
