About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Lead Forensics, a leading SAAS company in the B2B Sales and Marketing space.

As a key member of our technical team, you will work closely with our software development teams and report directly to our Chief Technology Officer to ensure our hosting platform meets the required performance, reliability, and cost targets.

This is a hands-on role that requires expertise in scalable cloud architectures, physical infrastructure, networks, operating systems, and security.

The role is remote-first, but you will need to be located within reasonable travel time of our hosting locations in the Portsmouth area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement complex hybrid cloud infrastructure environments.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code, deployment pipelines.
  • Collaborate with software engineering teams using Agile/DevOps practices.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in engineering, monitoring, and supporting cloud infrastructure environments.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems, networks, and security.
  • Experience with commercially focused software engineering teams.
  • Scripting/programming skills.
  • Team leadership or management experience.
