Cloud Infrastructure Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Lead Forensics, a leading SAAS company in the B2B Sales and Marketing space.
As a key member of our technical team, you will work closely with our software development teams and report directly to our Chief Technology Officer to ensure our hosting platform meets the required performance, reliability, and cost targets.
This is a hands-on role that requires expertise in scalable cloud architectures, physical infrastructure, networks, operating systems, and security.
The role is remote-first, with no fixed time in the office required, but you will need to be located within reasonable travel time of our hosting locations in the Portsmouth area.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement scalable cloud architectures using Azure and AWS.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Docker and Ansible.
- Collaborate with software development teams to ensure seamless integration with cloud-based services.
- Monitor and troubleshoot complex hybrid cloud infrastructure environments.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers to ensure the team's technical expertise and knowledge.
- Extensive experience in engineering, monitoring, and supporting complex hybrid cloud infrastructure environments.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems, networks, and security.
- Experience with commercially focused software engineering teams using Agile/DevOps practices.
- Scripting/programming experience.
- Team leadership or management experience desirable.
- Hybrid working in our Cosham office is an option.
