Job Description:

Sirona Medical is seeking a skilled and compassionate Complex Care Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in providing high-quality care to individuals with complex medical needs. As a Complex Care HCA, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the well-being and quality of life for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide personal care and support to patients with complex medical needs.

Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.

Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team.

Administer medication under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Implement care plans and ensure they are followed accurately.

Offer emotional and psychological support to patients and their families.

Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver holistic and patient-centered care.

Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.

Document care activities and maintain accurate patient records.

Competencies and Skills Required:

Experience in Complex Care: Demonstrated experience in providing care to patients with complex medical conditions.

Compassion and Empathy: Strong ability to understand and share the feelings of patients and their families.

Attention to Detail: Meticulous in following care plans and documenting care activities.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Team Collaboration: Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team.

Problem-Solving Skills: Capable of identifying issues and implementing solutions in a timely manner.

Adaptability: Flexible and able to adapt to the changing needs of patients and the healthcare environment.

Professionalism: Uphold high standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical behavior.

Technical Skills: Proficient in using healthcare technology and equipment.

Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and assist with patient mobility.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant in a complex care setting.
