Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and motivated midwife to join our team at the Maidstone Birth Centre. As a Paediatric Junior Sister for Surgery, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to women, pregnant people, and families in a midwife-led setting.
Main Responsibilities
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:
- Providing low-risk intrapartum care to women and pregnant people in a community setting
- Working closely with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of care
- Participating in the on-call system for the birth centre
- Supporting the development of our services to promote women's choice in place of birth
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Registration as a midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Council
- Sound knowledge of recent Government and Professional documents
- Able to demonstrate motivation to maintain professional development
- Ability to work within acute and primary health care settings
