About Our Client:

Our client is a renowned organisation known for its commitment to providing exceptional payroll services. They are seeking a Payroll Associate to join their team in New Catton, Norwich. As a Payroll Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting the processing of four monthly payrolls for approximately 6,000 UK employees, ensuring an efficient and accurate payroll service for the organisation.

Responsibilities:

As a Payroll Associate, your responsibilities will include:

Supporting the processing of the organisation's payrolls for approximately 4,500 employees
Ensuring all payroll transactions adhere to HMRC regulations and internal processes
Accurately calculating statutory payments such as Statutory Maternity Pay and Statutory Sick Pay
Handling manual payments as necessary
Addressing employee payroll-related queries in a timely manner
Managing third-party payments for pensions, court orders, etc.
Generating requested financial reports for the finance team
Conducting monthly payroll reconciliations
Assisting with tax year-end procedures
Contributing to the production of P11d's
Prioritising and managing workload to meet payroll deadlines
Staying updated on changes to statutory regulations and internal processes
Performing any other duties as required by the Payroll Manager

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

Broad payroll experience
Proficiency in using Excel
Strong communication skills

Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

Familiarity with relevant payroll technologies
