Job Description

What is the opportunity?

The newly created Operations Department in Jersey is building out a team of professionals to perform operational activities to support the running of key functions across the organisation, whilst ensuring adherence to ongoing and upcoming regulatory requirements.

In this role, you will actively monitor the services delivered by our Malaysian outsourced services team vs Service Level Agreement (SLA) for Banking, Payments and Reconciliations products and services.

Assist with the collection of Key Performance/Risk Indicator data (KPI & KRI) data across all of the Outsourced activities.

Support the development of test cases, working with the subject matter experts (SME's) to expand test cases against system enhancements or change requests.

Support the development of change requests or process changes to bring efficiencies across the operational teams.

What will you do?

  • Undertake process sampling/quality assurance across Banking & Payment products and services
  • Support the collection of KPI/KRI data and development of monthly reporting to the Outsourced Services Oversight Committee
  • Monitor outsourced reconciliation and investigation activity to ensure it is completed and performed in accordance with documented procedures
  • Support the maintenance and continuous development of test cases
  • Assist with the identification of processing efficiencies and work reduction practices by raising suggestions for change
  • Assist key business partners to ensure effective controls and services are performed in line with SLAs
  • Support the review and development of operational procedures and process maps
  • Escalation of risks identified to management for review
