Job Description
What is the opportunity?
The newly created Operations Department in Jersey is building out a team of professionals to perform operational activities to support the running of key functions across the organisation, whilst ensuring adherence to ongoing and upcoming regulatory requirements.
In this role, you will provide subject matter expertise (SME) to our outsourced partners with respect to Banking & Payment activities. Actively monitoring the services delivered by our Malaysian operations team vs Service Level Agreement (SLA).
You will maintain Key Performance/Risk Indicator data (KPI & KRI) across all of Banking & Treasury Operations.
Also maintaining and developing test cases for Banking & Payment operations, working with the SMEs to expand User Acceptance Testing (UAT) test cases against system enhancements or change requests. You will also assist with the development of change requests or process changes to bring efficiencies across the operational teams.
What will you do?
- Provide Banking & Payment Operations technical expertise to the team, business lines and Malaysian Operations
- Undertake process sampling/quality assurance on both Banking & Payment processing
- Help develop KPI metrics and risk indicators, raising issues identified
- Assist key business partners to ensure effective controls and services are performed in line with SLAs
- Assist with the identification of processing efficiencies and work reduction practices by recommending suggestions for change
- Provide SME knowledge to assist in the development of SLA scoring metrics to monitor services delivered and received for service partners
- Maintain and continuously develop UAT test cases for internal and external systems
- Ensure operating processes and procedures relating to Banking & Payments are continually reviewed and are embedded in the working practices of the team
- Escalation of risks identified to management for review
- Maintain process maps covering all operational processes and operational organisation charts
