What can you expect?

  • Working with our existing MMB Countries and the Director of Darwin Local, your primary responsibility will be to support the Darwin Local strategy and the continued success of our Darwin platform, from concept to execution. You will provide our local markets with the best practice, tools and approach that enable our stakeholders on all the steps from launching Darwin in market to continued revenue growth.
  • The Darwin Local Channel Manager will oversee all aspects of their specific channel. This means having ownership of a specific region and the associated Darwin growth ambition and targets for the respective region, and priority markets within.
  • Our Darwin Local strategy is designed to empower the Mercer Marsh Benefits (MMB) countries around the world to sell, deliver and service Darwin as if it was their own technology, helping Darwin build the most complete set of locally appropriate Reward Data on the planet.
  • This role can be based from any of our Global offices

We will count on you to:

  • Work with the local MMB country leadership to build a Value Proposition and Solution Set that makes Darwin a unique proposition in the local country incorporating their existing services
  • Drive growth and new proposition definitions across existing MMB Darwin Local markets; working with the local MMB country leadership to identify opportunities for new market segments and opportunity to build a new/ improved value Proposition and Solution Set, that makes Darwin a unique proposition in the local country, incorporating their existing services
  • Execute the go-to market, including: devising a marketing strategy and collateral, enabling sales champions, building incentive plans and getting your hands dirty in prospects and pitches to win the first Clients in the market
  • Drive commercial enablement activities including Darwin positioning, objection handling and demonstrations.
  • Work with existing MMB Darwin Local markets to drive in life best practices, including contract renewal framework, upsell and white space opportunities
  • Collaborate with O&T and delivery teams to manage the enablement of the Delivery and Service Resource alongside the pipeline of new business being delivered
  • Monitor and manage country success metrics and KPIs, including regular reporting on progress
  • Leverage learnings across MMB Local countries
  • Work with Darwin colleagues to communicate so that an end to end support mechanisms for Clients is built – from Contracting to Roadmap to Support structures
  • Identify opportunities to drive further education and thought leadership
  • Where relevant, plan out a migration strategy to move an existing client base on a local benefit technology to Darwin
  • Coordination and enablement of internal stakeholders
  • Inspire MMB Countries with your passion for Darwin and how it will help our clients deliver benefits that truly benefit
  • Work with the wider Darwin team to explore ways to collaborate and expand local propositions

What you need to have:

  • Diligence, drive and the ability to work with high levels of autonomy
  • Outstanding presentation and demonstration skills alongside a keen commercial acumen
  • Understanding of contracting/renewal process and security review management
  • Excellent Darwin knowledge and an understanding of how Darwin evolve will revolutionize our capability
  • Understanding of the Value Proposition for Darwin alongside the Products and Services that Darwin offer
  • Ability to work with C-suite leadership & working to a revenue based sales target
  • International experience of working with Clients and/or local countries across the world
  • Internal and External stakeholder management will be critical especially in times of tension
  • Relentless energy, drive and passion whilst remaining fun and engaging under pressure
  • Ability to document and build process to measure success and governance
