The Role

You'll play a central role in creating the foundation for effective people analytics and supporting the People & Culture (HR) function globally by providing insightful data. In this role, you will lead a small team of Product Developers, manage the development of people analytics products, and be responsible for the design and development of Power BI and other data visualization solutions. This position requires a blend of strategic thinking, product management expertise, and technical proficiency in Power BI development.

As a People Product Manager, you will design, develop, and maintain Power BI and other products to fulfill the data visualization and reporting needs of P&C and the business. You will collaborate with stakeholders across various functions to understand their requirements and translate them into visually appealing and actionable insights.

The ideal candidate is passionate about data visualization and storytelling, with experience in delivering analytics solutions and tools that help users identify key business risks and opportunities. This role requires a strong foundation in product management processes, data analysis, visualization skills, and the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Principle Accountabilities

  • Strategically plan and develop People Data & Insights products, defining product vision, roadmap, and priorities.
  • Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and end users to gather and refine user requirements.
  • Partner with data engineers and analysts to design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and other products that meet end-user needs and support business decision-making.
  • Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring timely delivery of user stories.
  • Lead Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Develop collateral documentation and training materials to upskill the P&C community regarding People Data & Insights products.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI or other visualization tools (Tableau, QlikView).
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of product management, including planning, prioritization, and delivery.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
  • Strong understanding of database concepts, data modeling, and SQL querying.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
