We are seeking a Marketing Director with a passion for energy and driving marketing results in a B2B professional services marketing setting. You will join a dynamic Energy practice marketing team, where your focus will be supporting the senior marketing director by leading strategic marketing programs and events, as well as positioning the BCG Center for Energy Impact (CEI) as one of the leading energy think tanks on the topic of energy transition. Your area of responsibility will span both brand awareness and reputational improvements as well as a marketing initiatives targeted at current and new accounts. The main areas of responsibility include the development of specific annual strategic programs and partnerships, innovation, and piloting of new marketing ideas across all marketing channels, development and implementation of a CEI marketing plan, organize CEI seat-at-the-table/events, and support personal brands of senior leadership.

The Marketing Director will have the responsibility to develop and deliver on key strategic programs that complements the BCG and the Energy PA marketing strategy and goals. The role requires extensive collaboration with the Energy marketing team and global experts to deliver maximum measurable marketing impact across all marketing channels including mailings, social media, web experience and events. The role reports to and collaborates closely with the Global Senior Marketing Director for the Energy practice, the rest of the Energy marketing team, local marketing and global centers of marketing expertise.

YOU'RE GOOD AT

The ideal candidate has a proven track record of successful professional services marketing programs, and preferably a strong understanding of the Energy sector, as well as terms used in the industry and corporate setting. The role requires strong analytical skills combined with excellent writing and communication skills. Given the nature of the role, strong multitasking, stakeholder management, teaming, time management and organizational skills are essential. The right candidate will be familiar with working independently in a virtual team environment spanning different time zones.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
Must as a minimum have a Master's degree focused on business and marketing, and preferably 10-12 years' experience from a professional services or other B2B marketing roleProven track record of leading successful marketing programs Documented experience in the energy sector and an understanding of the energy transitionExperience managing external event partnerships and own eventsDemonstrate deep understanding the professional services industryFamiliarity with think tanksVery strong time management and project management skillsProven strong stakeholder management skillsMust be able to work full-time and be flexible to accommodate meetings in different time zones Must be authorized to work in the location you are basedFluent writing and verbal communication skills in EnglishStrong analytical and numerical skillsYOU'LL WORK WITH
