Job Description

Overview

International News Group are looking for a HR Project Coordinator for a fixed term contract until end of 2024. This role is to provide support to the International HR team in project delivery to drive people-related strategy and business objectives whilst providing high-level administrative support to the wider team.

You'll be joining a collaborative and friendly team based across our London offices in Osterley and Fleet Place, where CNBC broadcasts live TV news programming on each business day. You will support the International News Group HR team and report in the Senior HR Manager, CNBC International to champion our people agenda and ensure a consistent approach across the business.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build on their project management skills within an HR environment, gaining exposure to a broad range of HR activities and the opportunity to work on HR projects and events.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with tracking and implementation of a wide range of HR projects, including organizational DEI projects.
  • Provide support as needed to other members of the global HR team.
  • Create, organize, and migrate confidential HR files to a SharePoint site.
  • Assist with general HR administration duties.
  • Work with the wider HR team to create standardized templates to be used for communications going forward.
  • Create and manage the HR inbox.
  • Play a proactive, hands-on role in the delivery and organisation of employee engagement events across CNBC International.
  • Champion CNBC and NBCU employee engagement initiatives, be a proactive member of CNBC's DEI Taskforce.
  • Support with note taking in a variety of HR meetings.
  • Support as needed employee life-cycle events, including recruitment, new hires, promotions, transfers, and leavers.
  • Accurately maintain and update our employee database and any other HR systems.
Qualifications

Skills, Experience and Requirements
  • Previous experience in a HR environment would be highly advantageous.
  • Experience demonstrating ability to develop, implement and administer new processes and project deliverables.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, which includes the use of accurate grammar.
  • Excellent digital fluency skills including ability to coordinate and administer meetings using digital communication platforms applications (e.g., Zoom, and Teams) and strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Ability to succinctly record in writing the main points of what is presented in a meeting, highlighting important key topics or themes that are emphasized, and organizing the material in a style that will best capture facts, ideas, and action item.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse group of management and staff including executive levels.
  • Methodical and organised in your approach to work with high attention to detail and a professional, calm manner.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and a pro-active, solutions orientated approach to work.
  • A supportive and collaborative team member with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and oral communications.
  • Punctual and able to effectively manage time.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to gather and accurately analyse information and documentation.
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information.
  • Adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines.
