Role Overview:

As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for managing the company's bimonthly payrolls with precision and timeliness. Independently handle end-to-end payroll processes while receiving guidance from the Payroll Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Payroll Management: Calculate and process company and statutory payments accurately.
  • Compliance: Ensure payroll processes adhere to company policies.
  • Data Accuracy: Monitor time and attendance data for accuracy.
  • Payments: Ensure timely payments to HMRC and third-party providers.
  • Employee Queries: Address payroll-related queries promptly.
  • Support: Assist with payroll projects and testing.
  • Pensions Administration: Manage pension scheme administration.
  • Systems Management: Support SAP payroll changes and data synchronization.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Experience: Manage monthly and hourly payrolls.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of UK tax rules and pensions.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail required.
  • Certification: CIPP Payroll Technician Certificate preferred.
