The Opportuntiy

The purpose of this role is to assist with the inbound flow of products and promotional items into the business, from setting up new lines, to raising orders and solving supplier invoice pricing queries, plus any other administrative tasks as set by Category Manager

What You'll Do

To liaise with suppliers for new line information, ensuring new line documentation is filled in accurately and submitted for input in a timely manner.To raise purchase orders in relation to new ranges, products, samples, replenishment or promotional buys.Updating pricing files, codes, product descriptions, contact details and OCD's. To assist the Finance team in relation to invoice queries with respect to price and taking ownership to solve these with the suppliers.Management of marketing sample call ins including requests, tracking, chasing and ensuring tight deadlines are met.Completing Vendor changes for the Commercial Team Retail sampling management.Ad hoc administration tasks and projects as determined by senior members in the Buying Team.Deputising for Assistant Category Manager when required.

What You Will Bring

Educated to degree level.Experience of working within Ecommerce or FMCG backgrounds.Numerate, with solid analytical and problem-solving skills.Must be computer literate including good Excel skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as a strong work ethic.Must be well organised, able to work under pressure and have the ability to meet tight deadlines.Must have the ability to use own initiative.
