The Assistant Category Manager will oversee the day to day management for Boots UK Gift cards. You should be an excellent communicator and be able to identify new opportunities and efficiencies for the category. You should be driven to succeed and have excellent time management skills to keep up with this fast-paced category.

About the role

Responsible for the in-store, online, gift mall and multi-redemptions cards across boots, including all stock management and ordering processes to ensure stores have access to stock at all times. Build and maintain relationships with both external suppliers and internal teams. To be the expert within Boots on all gift card systems and processes which enables gift cards to work both instore and online. Day to day contact for any gift card queries from Stores, Retail ops, IT, loss prevention, finance and external partners. Work closely and manage relationships with large 3rd party partners to help deliver B2C, B2B and gift mall sales. Lead and deliver categories Gift Guide pages. Lead supply/allocation process for stores. Requesting and managing PO's to ensure suppliers get paid in a timely manner. Support Gift card Category Manager to deliver sales, strategy and new ideas within the category. What you'll need to have

Expert in process, planning and delivery. Experienced professional able to work under pressure to deliver sales/profit targets to budget. High-level communication at any level is important for the role as internal and external relationships are key to the role. Time management, prioritisation and ability to react quickly to situations. Confident in presenting and leading meetings. Knowledge of the Gift Card industry preferred but not essential. Networking and relationship skills. Experience in Category or client relationship roles.
