Join a Leading Not-for-Profit Organization
An exceptional opportunity has emerged for a seasoned Contracts and Procurement Manager to become part of a prominent not-for-profit organization. This role will focus on a diverse category portfolio encompassing various goods and services, playing a pivotal role in the execution of procurement and contract management across the designated spend area while ensuring optimal value is achieved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Senior Procurement Manager in identifying and managing procurement initiatives that maximize value and minimize risk.
- Contribute to the enhancement and growth of the Procurement function, which includes the development and utilization of tools and templates, as well as reporting and training delivery to business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to establish a trusted partnership, fostering early engagement and elevating the profile of the Procurement function.
- Identify client needs, lead the research, development, and execution of strategic category plans, along with benchmarking and cost analysis methodologies.
- Maintain regular updates and reports regarding key procurement activities and contracts within the category of spend.
- Oversee procurement and contract management risks by promoting a disciplined procurement culture throughout the organization via training and engagement initiatives.
The ideal candidate will possess CIPS qualifications or be in the process of obtaining them, alongside a background in developing procurement and category strategies.
This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary range.
