In the role of Category Merchandising Assistant within our Commercial division, you will collaborate with renowned technology brands such as HP, Lenovo, and Samsung. This position entails managing stock and product ranges for Windows Desktops and Monitors, requiring an individual capable of working autonomously and possessing strong business insight.
Key Responsibilities:Your responsibilities will include:
- Establishing strong relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and our supply chain to ensure a consistent supply of products.
- Taking ownership of achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, inventory, profit margins, and markdowns.
- Analyzing sales forecasts based on historical data, seasonal trends, and market insights.
- Monitoring weekly performance and providing recommendations to ensure the successful implementation of in-season plans and optimal product availability across our stores.
Qualifications Required:
- Prior experience in merchandising, preferably within consumer goods, technology, or related sectors.
- A relevant degree (or equivalent), such as Marketing, Merchandising, Retail, or Business.
- Familiarity with merchandise planning systems like SAP, Compass Planning, or similar tools.
- Experience with business intelligence tools.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, along with effective communication abilities.
