Bail for Immigration Detainees (BID) is a small national human rights charity challenging immigration detention in the UK through the provision of legal advice and representation alongside research, policy and strategic litigation.

Our evidence-based research and analysis have helped us achieve policy change and cemented our reputation as experts on immigration detention.


We are looking for an exceptional individual with a demonstrable record of policy and research work, ideally within asylum, immigration or immigration detention, and a commitment to human rights to lead our policy, research and parliamentary function.
