About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our External Affairs Team as a Healthcare Policy Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping better sexual and reproductive health for all.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake policy, influencing, and public affairs activity to support the FSRH's Hatfield Vision and Organisational Strategy.
  • Assist the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Sexual & Reproductive Healthcare (SRH) with its programme of activity.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including policymakers, healthcare professionals, and other relevant organisations.
  • Contribute to the development of policy briefs, reports, and other materials to inform and influence decision-makers.
  • Support the team in delivering high-quality communications, including media relations and public engagement activities.
Requirements
  • Experience of working in policy, public affairs, campaigning, or a related field.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to engage with a range of audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare sector and policy landscape, with a passion for improving reproductive healthcare for all.
