Senior Policy Officer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Senior Policy Officer to join a leading healthcare charity in London. This role requires an individual with a strong healthcare policy background and excellent research and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development of policy across the healthcare sector, working closely with stakeholders and policymakers.
  • Monitor, update, and advise on policy and regulatory issues, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Conduct research, data collection, and analysis on policy issues, providing evidence-based recommendations.
  • Produce policy reports and recommendations, highlighting key findings and implications.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including parliamentary APPGs and select committees.
  • Prepare and present reports on policy development and impacts, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in policy development and implementation, ideally with a healthcare background and strong working knowledge of The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data, and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Superb communication and networking skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders and policymakers at all levels.
  • Outstanding working background of Westminster and Whitehall, with a deep understanding of the policy-making process.
  • Brilliant stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
